OCCSC Youth Leadership Program comes! (2024)

Time:  Thursday nights or weekends 

Location: Virtual Zoom and in person

Session: 10 sessions

The topics include:

• Orientation and team building 
•  Mental health 
•  Financial literacy
•  Planning your future 
•  Resume & Interview 
•  Advocacy
• Fundraising 
• Event Planning
• Photovoice Exhibition & Talent Show 
• Other fun activities and field trip

When accomplishing the Youth Leadership Program, you will get 40 volunteer hours.

How will this volunteer opportunity benefit you?

Gain work-related skills and experience and receive volunteer hours

Expand network circles, meet new people

Contribute your talents and skills to make a positive contribution to young newcomers

Experience the satisfaction of making a tangible difference in someone’s life

Learn about different cultures and needs of different  ethinic groups

Participate in OCCSC’s Volunteer Annual Appreciation Party (receive volunteer certificate and souvenir)

Receive reference from OCCSC (upon successful completion of 40 volunteer hours or continued service of 3 months)

Participant age: 14-25
