About the Event
OCCSC is honoured to have the presence of Mr. Wilson (Wai-Yin) Cheung, a renowned glaciologist from Queen’s University to give us a presentation before he heads back to the Arctic. Wilson is an ambitious explorer and dedicated scientist, named as one of The Explorers Club's 50 Explorers Changing the World in 2022.
Wilson will share his life story, detailing his journey to becoming a polar researcher. He will guide us through the captivating field of glaciology, unlocking the secrets of the majestic ice formations that have fascinated explorers and scientists for centuries.
